Which bread to use?

Bread is good for health if we substitute white bread with brown bread and that would be a healthier option if one is looking for healthy bread recipes…

Here, I have used ordinary bread but, if we would like to opt for healthy meals then I would suggest going for brown bread.

If one is running short of time then this breakfast recipe is surely a must-try

This Omelet just needs bread slices and omelette mixture and to make it simpler just dip the bread slices over the omelette spread and cooked till perfection…

Ingredients

Eggs: I am using eggs by beating both the white part and the yellow part together. It is preferable to go for organic eggs for a healthy option.

Spices: Use basic spices available in the kitchen such as salt, paprika, pepper and keep it simple to make it less spicy.

Oil: I am using edible oil but to make it healthier, adding olive oil is the best option.

Bread: White bread is better for tasty output but to get more health benefits substitute it with brown bread.

Instructions

Beat the eggs well and add dry spices such as salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and whisk well. Place the beaten egg mixture spread on the Tawa and place the bread slices on the omelette and cook well.

Once the omelette cooks well flip and cook well on the other side as well. This is the quickest and simplest way of making omelette bread and a great option for young and adults for breakfast or for a quick snack recipe.

One can make this recipe in various ways. Here, I have used a simple omelette mixture but one can go for masala omelette mixture or cheese omelette mixture or any other mixture of our choice…

Tips

To make it in a different style, just dip the bread which can be white or brown into the beaten egg mix and cook the dipped bread pieces or slices on both sides on a pan such as bread toast.

This is a better alternative to make this recipe and please refer to that post of mine for more details.

Faq’s

Can I add more ingredients to the omelette mix?

Yes, the mix can be modified by adding many more ingredients such as chopped green chillies, chopped cilantro leaves, finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped mint leaves and other herbs too such as parsley etc…
Also, some grated cheese if required and make a good masala egg mixture.
Any ingredient can be added to the mix and spread like a pancake on the griddle and cook the bread slices on them.

Can I dip the bread slices into the egg mixture and cook like toast?

The answer is yes, the bread slices can be dipped in egg mixture and cooked on a pan by adding little oil or butter and they too taste amazing as a breakfast recipe.

How to make it for weight loss?

Here, I am using oil which is not suitable for weight loss. To make it suitable to lose weight just add some olive spray to a pan, pour scrambled egg whites mixture, make an omelette and place it between a sandwich bread by grilling or just toasting the bread.
It can become a good breakfast recipe as well as a quick weight loss meal.

Is eating omelette a healthy option?

Eating egg white omelette is healthier as well as eating boiled eggs is even more beneficial to the human body. Have boiled eggs regularly to get a good amount of protein and calcium.
